Hoffmann, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in industrial construction, steel fabrication and material handling systems, announces the acquisition of Air-O-Flex Equipment Co. of Roseville, Minnesota. Air-O-Flex Equipment Co. has been supplying hydraulic truck dumpers in the U.S. and abroad since 1947.
Air-O-Flex truck dumpers and hydraulic cylinders will be manufactured by Hoffmann, Inc., at their Iowa facility which specializes in the fabrication of large, industrial components and equipment. “Air-O-Flex truck dumpers are a good fit with Hoffmann’s steel fabrication capabilities and our commitment to quality because they are known for their high performance, low maintenance, and robust cylinder design,” said Larry Emmert, President of Hoffmann, Inc.
Hoffmann will continue building Air-O-Flex’s proven models of hydraulic dumpers including: drive-thru, extended arm, over-the-wall, semi-portable trailer and rail car dumpers. Manufacturing under the name of Airoflex Equipment, they will continue offering reliable, hydraulic truck dumpers for biomass, RDF, wood waste, seed corn, peanuts, sugar cane and other products.
Airoflex Equipment will also continue providing receiving hoppers, replacement and refurbishment of telescoping cylinders, hydraulic power units and safety legs. “Airoflex’s customers will receive excellent service and spare parts support, as we will continue to service our installations throughout the world,” said Shane Metzger of Airoflex.
